Templar Trilogy films/miniseries

I just finished reading the Templar Trilogy, excellant books. Mr Whyte, I was wondering if you ever thought about trying to make them into a film trilogy or miniseries?

Templar Trilogy Thoughts...

Hello, Lesmielles:

Thanks for the enquiry. I have thought about it, of course, but only fleetingly and with barely a tinge of regret. It only takes a single author to write a book, but converting that finished book into other media formats requires an army of people, and that's why we authors use agents to represent us... They are the people who, with sufficient incentive, will go out there into the worlds of Cinema and Television and do battle with the Pundits who achieve such miracles. I don't have the time and I certainly don't have the know-how.

It's a nice dream and who knows, it might happen some day, but if it does it will happen because someone out there, whom I have probably never met or heard of, will see an opportunity to do something splendid and new (and thereby make a lot of money) and will forge ahead with quiet determination, overcoming the myriad obstacles between acquiring an option on a novel and actually bringing the project to fruition.

If you'd care to have a go at it, I'll put you in touch with my agents. I'm really glad you liked the books.

Jack
