The Arthurian Saga: The Sorcerer - Vol. 1 The Fort at River's Bend & Vol. 2 Metamorphosis
The Sorcerer: The Fort at River's Bend and The Sorcerer: Metamorphosis were originally written as one 1150-page book, entitled THE SORCERER. The Publishers, in their wisdom, decided to break novel into Volume I, The Fort at River's Bend, and Volume II, Metamorphosis, but unfortunately the American Publisher omitted to mention on the cover that The Fort at River's Bend is the first Volume (i.e. the first half) of the novel, The Sorcerer. Readers finishing the first volume have only read half the story, and in the United States that was not made clear at the outset, so that many American readers were disappointed and did not buy the second half, thinking that it was an entirely different book and the the one before it had had an unsatisfying ending...
Fortunately, the Canadian publishers, whose Trade Paperback originals are shown here, got it right, including the title on both books, along with the Volume identification number
